Shoulder Pain

Pain can often originate in the shoulder itself or can be caused by many of the surrounding muscles, ligaments and tendons. When lifting or rotating the arm this may exacerbate pain symptoms and can cause the muscles to atrophy in size dur to inactivity.

Depending on the underlying pathology and diagnosis your shoulder pain presentation can vary from not being able to lift your arm at all, to having full range of movement but with pain.
